Version 1.6 is released on June 7th.
This version focuses on ease of retrieving mail and offers 2 new options for mail retrieval.
1. Mail retrieval from the content screen can be triggered by the administrator to check all accounts
2. A true cronjob now is possible and can be setup to retrieve mail. This is helpful if you have a site that has slow traffic and yet you want the mail to be retrieved at certain defined intervals. You can actually turn off the system plugin for PowerMail.

The Powermail demo sites allow you to try all features and functions of this component before purchasing it.

These demo sites are self refreshing and will reset themselves every 24 hours. Feel free to send as many emails as you like to take the component for a testdrive.
Under parameters in PowerMail Pro, you can put your email in the first box called "Mail information to: " and you will receive an "administrator" notice of received content.

We are planning a release of version 1.02 for a fix of some minor bugs in our PowerMail Basic version.
The title will not be all capitals in this version. Also, there are some problems handling Umlaut characters in the title consistently that are being addressed. We hope to release this by January 25th.
We are also preparing an entirely new demo website for testing PowerMail basic and a new website for PowerMail 4 Joomla and other extensions. |

We are completing version 1.44 which has some bugfixes and some enhancements.
Essentially we are fixing a difficulty in still receiving Umlaut in the title which behaves differently if it comes via MMS from a cellphone, via email from a cellphone or via email from a PC. Needless to say, we thought we had this fixed before but it had not been totally fixed.
We have added new filtering libraries to more accurately handle the email display in content.
We hope to release this version by January 25th. |

PowerMail Pro 1.42 will be release on January 13, 2010.
It includes upgrades and bugfixes.
Look forward to some of the following features.
1. New language files for: German, Danish, and Dutch along with improved inline backend tips.
2. Bugfixes for exclude files and exclude text parameters, some word spacing and image handling issues.
3. New tag for excluding unwanted footers {end}.
You may also exclude footers by typing the exact text in the "exclude text" area in the backend.
4. Umlaut characters are fixed for email and MMS in the subject line as well as the body of the content.
a minor update 1.43 adds only Swedish language files
We have noticed a bug in 1.42 that is troublesome - "could not substantiate mail function" is displayed at times on the frontpage and the admin email is not sent despite the content being received. We will post a fix for this as available.
